Cocodrilo from Spanish to English is Alligator
but if I translate Alligator to Spanish I get Caiman
If I translate Crocodile to Spanish I get Cocodrilo

How do you tell the difference between a crocodile and an alligator? You will see one later and one in a while.

If an alligator lives in a river and thinks he’s a crocodile, there’s a good chance he’s in da-nile!

There are more Crocodile attacks each year than shark attacks

What do you call an alligator in a vest? An investigator!

What do you call an alligator that sneaks up and bites you from behind? A tail-gater.

Did you know alligators can grow up to 18 feet? But most of them only have four!

Did you hear about the law firm with the most intimidating lawyers? It’s filled with liti-gators.

Alligators can live up to 100 years…  Which is why there’s a chance that they will see you later.

What happens when an alligator drives a boat? He becomes a navigator.

What do you call a SWAT team of alligators? Gator-raid.

What do you call a reptile that works on a farm? An irri-gator.

What do dehydrated alligators drink? Gatorade.

What do you call an alligator that makes others fight? An instigator.

Why did I start to look at crocodile jokes? I was researching a wine Vina Cobos Cocodrilo Corte Mendoza. It led me down a rabbit hole full of giggles.

This wine is produced by Paul Hobbs.  He was born in upstate New York, into a family of farmers, he is the second of 11 siblings. His family grew mainly apples and grapes. It was in the orchards that he first observed the variations in flavor and texture of apples of the same type grown on various ranches on the family farm.

He served as Chief Winemaker at Opus One.  He is one of the most recognized winemakers worldwide. He owns Paul Hobbs Winery and Crossbarn in California, Viña Cobos in Argentina, Crocus in France, and others.

On a trip to Chile 1988 to explore that country for wine. Paul made a mistake, a good one … “I invited a friend to join me. When my host from UC University realized that I’d invited an Argentinian to the tour he threw us out! So we drove to Mendoza the next morning and he saw the first vineyards in Mendoza and I was really impressed.” So that began his story in Argentina.
